Successful Completion of the EIT EVO-R 2023 Project: Digital Transformation Achieved with ETI Machinery!
We are proud to announce the successful completion of the EIT-supported EVO-R 2023 project in collaboration with ETI Machinery. This project has focused on the integration of the FabMetrics platform, significantly improving manufacturing efficiency and facilitating digital transformation in the sector.
The FabMetrics platform was successfully implemented on ETI Foods’ Tablet Chocolate Production Line , transforming production processes by providing real-time monitoring, reducing downtime, and enabling remote oversight and management capabilities.
During the project, the following key milestones were achieved:
• Integration: The FabMetrics platform was seamlessly integrated into ETI Machinery’s automation layer, ensuring standard communication on the pilot production line. This integration enables ETI Machinery to offer digital services to both their greenfield and brownfield applications.
Connected Data Tags
• Data Connectivity: ; Thousands of data tags were successfully connected to ensure robust data collection and monitoring of production processes. This foundational integration provided ETI Machinery and ETI Foods with tailored dashboards, real-time alarms, and advanced performance tracking capabilities.
• User Empowerment: ; Comprehensive training sessions were organized to enhance user adoption of the FabMetrics platform. ETI Machinery was equipped with the know how to utilize the platform’s low-code functionalities, gaining the ability to independently manage and customize their systems. This enables them to integrate their production lines with FabMetrics autonomously.
The completion of this project not only validates our technology but also opens new opportunities for digital transformation in the manufacturing sector. The positive outcomes from our collaboration with ETI Machinery will serve as a model for future applications of new developed IoT Digital Services.
